Circus Time

We had a great time at the Circus, the kids loved it, and so did we!

We went down to the floor before the circus started and we were able to see clowns and the kids were able to dress up and watch magic shows.

Evan could not take his eyes off of everything that was going on, he absolutely loved it, especially when there were any types of animals performing.

The elephants were so good!

That is a lot of elephants!

Quinlan's favorite part was definitely the elephants.

And the tigers, wow that is incredible to be surrounded by all those tigers, um no thank you

They are beautiful animals.

We had a really great time!!!

Potty Training Success

Done. I think I can honestly say Evan is potty trained. It is the truth of, when they are ready they are ready. No need to push and plead and beg and bribe until you have no more strength, when they want to do it they will do it. Overnight success I like to call it. It has been 3 weeks now since we started the ABSOLUTE NO DIAPERS on Evan and I can count the number of accidents on one hand. Way to go Evan! I knew you wouldn't go to kindergarten in diapers!

Thunderstorms....

ARE AMAZING!!

Thunderstorms on a warm summer evening cooling off the 100 degree temperatures of the day...

The twirling and swirling of the clouds, the wind picking up, the temperature getting just a bit cooler and the smell of rain in the air....

They make Quinlan happy too.

And then it happens....Rain!

Ahhhh Summer Thunderstorms... I Love Them!!!

House For Sale...Correction, Home For Sale

Our house is for sale, it has been for sale for a month now, and although it is extremely bitter sweet, it is time to move on to something bigger, with more space for our kids to run and play and just be kids. We live on a very busy street, a street that originally was suppose to be shut down so that we would not have the problem of a busy street, that never happened.

Is that why we are moving? Well it is one of the reasons. Need more rooms, need bigger yard, want a smaller school district, would like to have neighbors that can not see in our windows, would like cheaper taxes, and yes get away from the busy street.

We have lived in this house since July 2002. We have so many wonderful memories here. We brought our two boys home from the hospital here, celebrated many birthdays and holidays, sat outside for hours with our neighbors, seen some neighbors get divorced or married, some have a baby or babies, it has been a wonderful house, someplace we have called home.

We drove up the other day and Evan screamed from the back seat, "thas my house!" I know our children have loved being here, and Cassidy will have a hard time switching schools but in the long run I think it will be best for all of us.

We will now find a new place, a new home, and we will make many memories there as well.

Until then, we will continue to enjoy our home we are in now, make every last memory count here, and remember this is our first home, but definitely will not be our last.

Here is to new memories and lots of pictures to remember our old ones.

House For Sale. Correction, Home For Sale.

Happy 4th of July!

Happy 4th of July! We were in San Antonio celebrating the 4th with a barbecue, good times, big family, and lots of fun. Cassidy, Evan and Quinlan sure had fun, and it was nice to be with our family! Of course when we are with Dion's family well its a rather large party!

Evan why such a sad face? Oh that's right he does not like anyone else jumping in the bounce house, because then he can not bounce! Poor guy, the life of a child. Sigh....

It was on when the ice cream truck decided to roll up on our party, what, you want about 100 kids buying ice cream? Well you came to the right place! Ice cream for all, thanks grandpa!

After a little food, and a little ice cream it was on to the games, from soccer to football, bounce houseing to pinata swinging, these kids had a blast!

And it was so nice having the parents and grandma together. Thanks for a great 4th! We had a blast!
