Friday night we went to Concerts in the Garden at the Fort Worth Botanical Gardens. We sat out on the lawn and listened to some great music. The band was called Mingo Fishtrap and they played N'awlins (New Orleans) type music. They were fantastic! We had so much fun. After the band played there was a great firework display, Evan was scared of course, Quinlan was admiring everyone of them!
Snow cones for all, except Evan...he had to have it, and of course did not eat it.
These kids had a blast, eating and running around and listening to some great music.
Dion had a great idea about bringing us out here, we had a blast.
Evan had so much fun with his lighted sword.
Anytime I can get in a pic is a good thing. I have so few of my and my kids since I am the one always behind the camera.

Evan truly his a ham...he just had to fit his big ol' booty in that seat. What makes him think he will fit now when he didn't even fit as a baby?
Quinlan fit though. His head was a little shaky so we will be waiting a few more weeks before we try this again. He did love it. Quinlan does not like to be laying down he wants to see what is going on. He also did his first bellly laugh yesterday 6/8/09 and I have a video I will post when I can figure out how to do that.

Quinlan does not get as much floor time as Evan used to get given that Evan is constantly running like a mad man around the house. Quinny did love his gym though when he was under it.

I was able to spend the day with my best friend Nikki since I was about 8 years old! We have not seen each other in forever. We had so much fun, and now between the two of us we have 6 kids! How crazy is that. 2 girls and 4 boys!
I can not tell you how much this reminds me of when Nikki and I were their age. Madison and Cassidy!

Cassidy and Dion finally were able to see the Alamo. My mom also joined on this fun filled adventrue, oh yeah and it was about 103 degrees...note to self: go to the alamo and riverwalk in the winter.

That's what happens!! We had so much fun! Thank you Mom and Dad for letting us invade you for 10 days. We had a blast!
